How to make position:fixed menu bar stick on the window

My problem is that i can't make a position:fixed menu bar "stop" when the menu is 365px far from document bottom. What i mean with the word "stop" is that when someone scrolls down and menu bar becomes 365px far from document bottom it should freeze, if user continues to scroll down it should stay 365px from document bottom. When the user scrolls up and the menu bar becomes greater than 365px from bottom it should become position:fixed and follow the window. Thank you.
