I am working with some data that show information about different people in a scatter plot with lines like this:http://ift.tt/1oHYihO

this is an example with small data set, but with big data i have to group my y axis according to the first letter of disease (for example) so, i want to have something like this on the left axis(sorry for the small size): http://ift.tt/1oln0Hv

so, i have already thought about tree structure,but i do not know how to fit it to the axis Of course at first there is no selectable elements at all
