using virtual com to send plc data over internet

I want to know whether it is possible to do the following: 1-Connect a PLC to some Computer on a network 2-write a C# program which gets data from PLC and sends it to another computer on the network and vice versa 3-on another Computer, there is a SCADA system which should interact with PLC, working on COM1 4-there is a virtual-null-modem program which creates a Virtual COM2, and a Data emulator which connects physical COM1 to virtual COM2 5- On computer 2, there is a c# program which gets/sends data from/to COM2 and on another way there is a socket program which gets/sends data over network to the computer which is physically connected to PLC So, after all these descriptions, what are the odds for this kinda architecture working for me? Thank you in advance for your help, and sorry for my poor english language.
