How to log in programmatically in a website using java?

I know that it is possible to log in programmatically. But what the problem is web site which I want to log in uses image as a button which uses onClick() jsp function for signing in. That image button doesn't have id. Both the input fields of username and password has id but not this image button. This what the problem is. Anybody please tell me the way to log in programmatically...!!!
