Q: How do i enhance the color of an object in an image

Im working on retinal images and i wanted to extract optic disc. So what i do is use the imfindcircle function but there are images where the optic disc is not that obvious so it is hard to detect it. So how do i enhance the 'bright' color of an image like what i uploaded. Optic discs are those circular light ones found in the image.
