Reset USB driver on MAC via C/C++

I need to reset the USB bus on MAC so that all USB devices connected to my MAC will be reconnected to the system. I need to do this via shell or scripting.

I know that this is possible via C/C++ using library usb.h. However I need to do this on MAC. I thought that being MacOS built on Unix, I could use the same libraries (like here). However there are some Mac specific libraries for Mac (like this). I do not know which one is the best to use.

To succeeded in this, what do you recommend?
