Use of FTP and security issue if i disclose username and password

I have unlimited hosting by Godaddy and willing to share my FTP storage for free. for example: http://ift.tt/12DvuBC

It is now asking for username and password. Should i disclose this to public so that they can make use of it. And what are security issues that i can face. Normal User should be able to only add file not delete them.

And also how a user will be able to upload any file here on FTP server ?
