Google Earth always immediately crashes on Mac

I really enjoy using Google Earth on my iMac, but for over a year, every time I install Google Earth and try to use it, the program immediately crashes. I get an error report full of commands that I don’t understand and I’d be really interested in sharing that file with anyone who might want to take on the challenge of figuring this out. I have the same problem with all versions and releases of Google Earth (including Pro). I’m currently using OS 10.9.5, but the problem began several OS X versions in the past. Thanks.
