Android Studios AVD Manager crash on mac os Lion

I have installed the Android Studio on my MacBook Air with Yosemite. No problem except with HAXM. This problem was solved.

When I do the same installation on equivalent computer with Lion (10.7.5), I can't create any emulator with AVD Manager inside Android Studio. I receive the message, "Studio quit unexpected". Upon installation, it also fails the installation of the emulator that is included in the package.

Does anyone know the solution how to get AVD Manager inside Android Studio to work?

Do not want to go through the terminal!
