How distributed system (p2p) works using EJB And JAVAFX?

I need to develop a final year project. I opted to develop MArksheet Generation System, wherein the Teachers can fill in marks of the students and the system will calculate the grades and generate the complete certificate for them.. My issue is i need to develop this system in such a way that multiple employees can work on this system, distributed around multiple computers inside the lab.. However all those computers will share same database and will be linked to computer where i am planning to install a database server, inside one single computer lab in my college..

Also i am using planning an EJB where i ll keep my Hibernate code for accessing data to and fro the database on Machine (1) to the MArksheet Generation System distributed on Machine (2),Machine (3),Machine (4).......Machine (n).

What i want to know is how to achieve this? Can EJB container run on local Tomcat server.?? And how should i call and pass parameters to the DAO in EJB from those distributed applications?
