Infinite scroll with empty rows/cells for MasterViewController's UITableView?

Can someone point me in the right direction on this question. Most of what I've found on here are REST lazy loading, and content filled rows/cells in the UITableView to achieve infinite scrolling. However, if the keyboard is blocking half the table view, and you'd like to see an item just one below that's hidden; the table view pushes back down and hides it again. Is this possible?

Any links would be appreciated on this topic! Thanks!
