Maven-Shade provided dependencies

How can I exclude all the provided dependencies of a jar when it gets shaded?

I know I can:

• filter them (and that it allows ant-like wildcards)


• include/exclude

What I look for (hope it exist) is a way to tell the plugin that not to package the provided ones.
