OS network openfile sharing between containers

How are the Operating systems open files shared between various containers running on docker? What is the order of allotment. eg. if there are 50k openfiles and there are concurrent requests from two separate containers for 30k and 20k open files and in another case for 50k and 30k openfiles How will the open files be distributed between the containers in each of these cases?
