I have a pre-designed Word doc with a designated space for adding Municipal Code numbers and their text descriptions. Ultimately I want to be able to type the code number in the Word doc and have it auto-populate the description. I have an Excel doc where column A is code numbers and Column B is descriptions. I've found code for something similar, but it starts in Excel and creates a new word doc, I need to start in Word and pull from Excel. I'm extremely new at this and fumbling my way around so any help will be greatly appreciated!
