Error of dependencies for installing a package under freeBSD

I'm trying to install the module p5-Error, under FreeBSD, through the ports, and I'm having issues.

Here's what I get:

/usr/ports/lang/p5-Error # make install clean
===>   p5-Error-0.17024 depends on package: perl5>=5.24<5.25 - found

If I understand correctly what's happening here, the version of perl that I have installed isn't compatible with the requirements of p5-error.

Here's the verion of perl I have installed, which is, to my understanding, up to date:

===>>> perl5-5.24.1

Any thoughts? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
