Excel VBA - Adding objects

I need some assistance with getting an object name into an excel spreadsheet. I have set up a template with a button that allows the user to select a PDF document and insert it as an object. I was wondering if there is any way I could add that objects filename to a cell in the spreadsheet. Once the object is placed its name is simply "object01" but I would like the actual file name if possible. I'm hoping this is something really simple that I am missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
