Scribed is creating log folders with a "*" appended to category name. Why?

scribed is creating aggregated log folder with a * appended.

For example is category is test_cat then folder name created is test_cat*

There is a config where we can specify wild card for categories, such that all categories that match the wild card will be aggregated in the same folder. But I am not using any such config. category is set to default

Could anyone please explain this behaviour.

This is on a centOS machine.
