How to add events to calendar on Xcode

I have searched high and low for days for this answer and can't find anything.

I am trying to add events to a certain date picked on a calendar. I am using DSLCalendarView source code found on GitHub (http://ift.tt/11jsbbs). I just need an idea of where the code should be on my project or a link to another source explaining how to add events to a calendar or maybe another source code link with this option already built in.

So far I just have a working calendar on the app and now I am stuck. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
