Is there a way to change the value of a variable in a DLL from a C# application?

I'm making a weather application that takes its data from the Yahoo weather API. All the data is collected using my DLL. However I need to be able to change the town where the weather data comes from in the application that uses my DLL. Is there a way to do this or should I just collect the data in the application?
