Using AWS SES (mail) with Meteor

I have a AWS SES account set up for mail.

I would like to be able to send email using regular Meteor functions.

For example,

Accounts.sendEntrollmentEmail(...) or Email.send(...)

There was once a package http://ift.tt/1J9fXrj that did this but it is not valid with Meteor 1.*.
