Using Folder and File icons for JSTREE

I want to use file icon/folder icon for my nodes in my Jstree. I understand that with no given type for a node will use the folder-icon. But I don't know how to use the file icon. In this post, I tried to use the "icon" : "jstree-file"but this will not show the icon unless I remove the "jstree-themeicon-custom". I also tried adding attr : { "rel" : "file"} but still won't work. Am I missing something here?

I can just cut the icon in the 32px.png (the image file where icons are stored) and just use it but it's a lot better if I will go to the "cleaner" way.
