Performing an operation at every change in date using Excel VBA

I am working with time series data but am a newbie to Excel VBA. The time series is a set of independent variables and a dependent variable. I need to perform multiple regression for every date. A separate function performs the regression. I want to write a program which will call this function for every change in date and paste the regression output for every date. Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance.
