Edit dwg file with dwf attached

I have some plans for a building from a professor. There is one file *.dwg and one *.dwf and some other : a Fonts folder and a *fmp file.

Can someone explain to me how to open these plans so i can change them?(edit them) ?

I tried opening the dwg file in Autocad 2007 or 2014. I see the plans but i cannot make any selection (e.g. selecting a line). If i click something I get a dwf Underlay tab with some options that does not help me (I clicked all of them).

Any ideas ?
