Specific way to call php variables into html

First of all im am not a pro, and this is my first question here.

I have been creating templates for CMS system WHMCS, and whenever i needed to call a variable from the language file i just typed {$LANG.thisvariable} and the corrosponding code in the language file was {$_LANG['thisvariable'] = "This variable works";

I would now like to have it made that way on a website i am creating. but the tedius task of having to do a each time is annoying me when i know it can be done in another way.

I really hope someone can help me on this one.
