I have a project using php, mysql and apache. I created this project on my pc (Ubuntu) and I'm trying to get it to work on my laptop (Mint).
I created the database and imported the tables and all the usernames and passwords are the same. Yet the project on my laptop doesn't retain the functionality of the original. It somehow isn't connecting properly. The login function works, but the uploading functionality isn't working. By that I mean: on the front end the upload functionality does what it's suppose to. But on the back end the file doesn't get uploaded to the desired folder and neither does the details go into the database.
I can't think of a reason for this. Any suggestions?
