I try to add an parent/child percentage to the highest grandparent

I have this table in SQL Server 2008:

parent child share A B 50% B C 80% C D 75%

I like to add a column with the share from the highest parent, so like this:

parent child share sharetotal A B 50% 50% B C 80% 40% C D 75% 30%

I looked into many other question, but can't get this done...
