Add Contributor to Google Document via Api

I am able to Change text / Title etc. of a document via the google api, but I can't add any contributors.

doc.Title.Text = "A new Title";
doc.Contributors.Add(new AtomPerson(AtomPersonType.Contributor)
{
    Name = "arealaccount lastname",
    Email = "google@thisaccountexists.de"
});
doc.Update();

this will update the title but it will not add the contributor to the doc.. anyone can help me with this?
