Restore Stash from backup

We are using Atlassian Stash to manage our Git repositories on the version 2.6.0 . Now that we have planned to upgrade it to 2.6.2 , we have given installation and Home directory in the same location which made us encounter huge data loss.

I now have the backup of Stash 2.6.0 home and installation directories. Can anyone please guide me on how to roll back to stash 2.6.0 from existing 2.6.2 ? Also, If i provide two different directories for Stash Home and Installation and copy the repository code from Backup to existing stash data repositories, will this work?Please let me know.
