Differences in SQL 2008 server collation verses TRNs

I have SQL 2008 BAK files that have a different collation setting than on the server I want to restore to. I understand once I restore from the BAK file, the database will restore with the original collation setting it was backed up with.

So, I have a scenario where I will also have TRNs to restore to the database (with the mismatched collation) in the future. Can I restore the database in loading mode so I can restore TRNs in the future till we are ready to cut over and then change the collation to the collation of the server? Any other suggestions to make this any simpler??
