I've few domains hosted in my Godaddy shared hosting. In the web-server it's organized as follow,
/cpanel/
/public_html/ { Main site files lives here }
samplesite1.com/ { samplesite1.com files lives here }
samplesite2.com/ { samplesite2.com files lives here }
Now according above structure, if I go to my mainsite.com it gets the content from /public_html/ root.
Currently I'm not happy about how it's being setup for the mainsite.com. I think it would be more organize if I could also put the mainsite.com content inside a folder. if I illustrate it,
/cpanel/
/public_html/mainsite.com/ { mainsite.com files should be here }
samplesite1.com/ { samplesite1.com files should live here as it is }
samplesite2.com/ { samplesite2.com files should live here as it is }
Therefore in this if I goto **mainsite.com** it should get the content from **/public_html/mainsite.com/** folder.
I already contact the Godaddy but they said, Since this is redirect setup they cannot be assistance. Also they said I can do this via my Cpanel -> Domains -> Redirects, when I checked it according to my understanding it's a URL redirect such as I think,
examplesite.com/help Redirect to -> examplesite/help-desk/
Could anyone please help me out of this issue? Basically I want put my mainsite.com content inside the /public_html/mainsite.com/ folder. Even if I do I expect no issues for other sites and or Cpanel.
FYI: My Cpanel access as follows mainsite.com/cpanel/
