Image getting uploaded with black border

I am using this plugin to manipulate(crop,rotate) images.

It is working fine for the images whose size is less than or equal to 5 MB.

The problem I am facing is that whenever I try to upload image whose size is greater than 5MB is that the image is getting uploaded with black border on the top and bottom of the image.

If anyone can suggest me solution that will be a great help for me.
