New to android here:
Don't know if anyone played the game "cube runner" on iPod touch/iphone back in the day but the basic premise was there were randomly spaced cubes on a map (the map moved toward you while your "runner" stayed in the same place on the scree) and the objective was to not hit the cubes.
My question is in android, in order for cubes to have different properties (kill you, speed you up, slow you down) and to look like part of the "map" should each cube be its own view or can/should the activity spawn its own cubes randomly as the "map" "moves toward" the user's "runner"?
Also I'm confused about how to continuously draw new cubes and keep the screen "moving toward" the user's "runner". (definitely a spin off of the first question but a little different)
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
