I am trying to create an animated marker effect like this: http://ift.tt/1q8UqXW here with an animation, I've managed to create this image http://ift.tt/Tta6dV using Kevin Nilsen's function (http://ift.tt/Tta8T2). On first attempt I tried to dynamically change stroke-width on different parts of path while it was animated, but that failed as Raphael was changing stroke-width on whole path. On second attempt, I've tried to use only one path, going from point start to end and back again. Effect was nice, but it looked a bit as a car wiper, when the second line was removing fill while leaving the outline intact. On third attempt I created two paths with same origination and ending point, but different control and middle points. I filled first with the blue color and second with white fill, but my goal is to make that white fill transparent, so I can see what was marked. I cannot however do that, because there's blue fill underneath white one.
Is there any way to manage stroke-width dynamically?
