Store user scores in android quiz app

i have created an android quiz app in which questions and answers are stored in sqlite database . Each question has three options one of which is correct. I have used a variable 'score' which shows the final score in Result Activity. Now i want to create a username password option in the beginning of the quiz and store the score in a shared preference and display the previous scores the next time user logs in. How can i do this?
