Encryption / Decryption in own website using PHP (JavaScript)

Is It possible to make PHP (or JavaScript etc. using website) script to encrypt / decrypt - MD5, MD5, SHA, GOST or etc. Do I need any libraries / extensions or can I do it via PHP standard code? Thank you for answers.
