Magento navigation displaying wrong

I was trying to test something in the products/list.phtml file in my theme and somehow it messed with the entire website. It no longer renders properly. Top navigation appears as a list.

I have since reverted back to the list.phtml file but still get the same result. Any idea on how I can fix this?
