Solve complex equation in Java

i have the following equation :

a/x - sumOf(s) = [n*e^(-x)]/[1-e^(-x)]

with x is the only variable, the others are constant.

Is there any feasible ways or libraries that can solve this equation? This is the one among dozens of equations which have the same structure with the above one i need to solve using Java.

I have no idea how to simplify this kind of equation to find x.
