Generate Realtime Stats On Personal Email Usage With a Chrome Extention or Google App

I'm looking for a tool/extention/app that can perform a realtime analysis of my gmail usage patterns and generate statistics. I'm imagining a Chrome extension or Gmail contextual gadget (but a desktop widget would be fine too) that adds an interface (ideally a graph, but text would be fine too) that gives me info along the lines of:

INCOMING:

• You've received 165 emails today

OUTGOING:

• You've sent 43 emails today
