mixing Koahan Database Session and PHP session

I am using PHP Koahana 3.3 framework with Database session. I have multiple web-servers running Kohan based PHP code. Database based session allows me to ensure session variables are available to all server instances. I am trying to integrate my code with Facebook PHP SDK (4.0) for Facebook login, which uses start_session and other Native PHP Session APIs. In multi-server scenario these native sessions will not be replicated and thus can pose issue. I am looking for solution that will allow me to use new feature in multi-server scenario without having to modify Facebook PHP SDK. Is it possible to have both sessions in sync/co-exist?
