Android in-app purchase v3: How to query an refunded item?

I am trying to upgrade the in-app purchase in my app from v2 to v3. However, after I used v3 api, I cannot query the refunded item anymore by queryInventoryAsync().

The refund policy of my in-app purchase item is to allow user keep using the item even though it was refunded. However, in v3 api, I cannot do it because the app cannot detect the refunded items. All refunded items seems to be considered as "unowned" and not listed in the return list.
