I am new to python and automation as a whole. Im currently writing a script to test a draggable widget from a menu that does not have a click attribute. The object within the webapp is meant to drag and not meant to click on, however; if a click action does occur, within the menu, a description appears under the widget name. I am trying to verify the text within each widget option, the summary text is correct. I cannot seem to get the webdriver to click on a non clickable attribute.
quickStartselector ="/html/body/div[1]/div[2]/section/div[1]/div[2]/span/ul/li[1]"
widgetToolbar = WebDriverWait(driver, 10).until(lambda driver: driver.find_element_by_xpath(quickStartselector))
quickStartselector.click()
