morphological operation open and close in hadoop image processing

I am working on HIPI platform in Hadoop Framework and would like to perform morphological operation such as open,close on images(input taken as Floatimage) in HIPI. Can someone tell me if there is any built-in function for these operations? If not, then how to perform them? Thanks in advance.
