Checking Out Bartender Files Programmatically

I'm currently working with Seagull's Bartender Librarian SDK.

I know how to check out a file programmatically from the SDK. Unfortunately that method requires the Librarian version file path (lib:\file.btw) of the .btw file.

Does anyone know of a method where I can either check out the file with it's full path (from C:// drive), or converting a full path to a Librarian path?
