Drop down menu and slider problems

So I'm having a problem in my drop down menu background color. And I search anywhere and tried everything i can find. Until I change the position from absolute to relative. If the position is absolute, the menu is over the slider below the navigation BUT the background color of the menu is the background image of the slider. If the position is relative. The background color of the menu is what I assigned BUT the slider moves down. What should I do about it?
