I see that I'm able to compile and run 32 bit binaries on a 64 bit Linux platform(Ubuntu) by install g++-multilib packages and using the -m32 flag. However, how exactly does this work?
I'm guessing that you need a 32 bit ld.so and a 32 bit libc. But what else is required to make this work? How do the pieces fit in together?
