How to monitor my app's batery drain

I'm developing an android app that connects to a server using WebSockets.

So, every time the app is on foreground I connect to the WebSocket and I keep the connection open, until the app goes to the background.

I need to monitor the status of battery drain when the app is on foreground, and when the app is on background. And ideally the use of mobile data and WiFi, because I need to show it to my client.

I found similar questions in SO, but they where very old and not really helpfull.

I have used trepn profiler, but I want to know if there is a standard way of doing, or if someone can recommend anything else.
