What is the appropriate and best data structure to use for a "requirement-based" program?

I need to build a program that tells the user what classes they have left until they complete all. Now, I was thinking of using a directed graph to keep track of what they have finished. This way they can't complete Class A2, until they complete A1.

Would that be the best option? What is your opinion and how would you go about this?
