While I am studying regarding Remote Procedure Calling I came across with Interface Definition Language. Why it has been called as a "language"? because I know about interfaces in Object Oriented Programming but they are done using the same syntaxes as in Java or c#. What is exactly an IDL? How does it differ from a normal programming language? or is there something else that I need to concern? Please be kind enough to explain much comprehensively because these are new to me.
