I'm facing a problem with my Windows IDE (eclipse with MinGW). When using concert technology, the header ilosys.h (form cplex) includes the old generic.h.
The problem is, generic.h can't be found on my PC. I tried copying it from the internet but I didn't find the right header. My question is: why is generic.h required in windows cplex 12.6 but not on linux (same cplex version)? Is there a way to skip this inclusion? On top of that, how can I install VC++ toolchain? Is it enough to install visual studio? Thank you and sorry if it's trivial, i'm new both to CPLEX and Windows.
