Openadr 2.0b EPRI Opensource Pull or Poll VEN

Iam using EPRI OpenADR Poll VEN to test our requirements.Though the events created in VTN are being received at VEN, I would like to understand how the events or signal types are differentiated against the paylaod value.

In VEN sample application using poll, please let me know if there is any way to print the signal event type i..e whether DR_charge or load_control against the respective paylaod value in the processmessage() function?
